Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions is a 2012 anime series consisting of 12 episodes with studio Kyoto Animation being responsible for its production. The show revolves around a high school freshman named Yuta Togashi, who is recovering from the condition of chunibyo, which is a syndrome that makes people believe they have supernatural powers. He was once an avid believer in the supernatural and had a chunibyo phase which he called the "Dark Flame Master." However, upon entering high school, he decided to leave this phase behind him and start a new life. He hoped to live a normal life, but he was met with unforeseen challenges.

At his new school, he meets a girl named Rikka Takanashi who also suffers from the same condition, chunibyo, but to a more extreme degree than he did. She is a self-proclaimed wielder of the "Wicked Eye," which her supernatural powers come from. Yuta shows disdain towards Rikka's behavior, viewing it as childish, however, he eventually becomes entangled with her and her chunibyo antics.

As the show progresses, Yuta becomes aware of Rikka's family situation and the reasons behind the development of her condition. Despite attempting to distance himself from Rikka in the beginning, Yuta begins to appreciate her love for the supernatural and eventually becomes to understand where she comes from. Along the way, Rikka helps Yuta reconcile his own chunibyo past, including his former girlfriend, and finds out she has a mysterious connection to Yuta's past as well.

Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions is a delightful romantic comedy that explores the complexities of human relationships and the struggles of adolescence. Nanase points out the 'napping' part of their group is actually a notable pastime, suggesting they have a 'siesta match' against Maple Hill High School's Siesta Club to serve as an official activity for their group. On the way home, they are approached by Maple Hill's Sui Nemuri, who sparks a rivalry with Kumin, with Rikka rushingly adding she will disband her society if they lose. Thus, Kumin begins training the others in the art of napping, teaching them to sleep in any situation. Finding sleeping at will to be much harder than they thought, Yuuta suggests they stay awake the entire night so they'll be more tired on the day of the contest, with Satone joining their activities, though they end up falling asleep anyway. Despite their disadvantage against the other school, Kumin encourages the others to give it their all, and together they win the match, allowing their group activities to continue.
