Before he knows it, he has been pulled back into the world of chunibyo - this time, with Rikka as his companion.

The story of Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! -Heart Throb- takes place two years after the first season, and Yuta is now a second year high school student. Rikka also had to move on to high school, and she now attends a different school from Yuta. However, despite the distance between them, Yuta has not given up on Rikka, and he continues to try and help her grow out of her chunibyo worldview.

The story follows their relationship as they navigate the various challenges that come with first love. There are misunderstandings, awkward moments, and plenty of competing interests. However, Yuta and Rikka are determined to make their relationship work, even if it means facing their delusions head-on.
