Meanwhile, we are introduced to a young girl called Anya who has telepathic powers. Anya is an orphan who is desperate to find a family. She is on a mission to make friends with someone who has a family so that she can become a part of the family. Anya's powers make her different from other kids, and she is often bullied because of it.

One day, Anya reads the minds of a group of kids who are making fun of her. She reads their thoughts and realizes that they are going to hurt her. Anya runs away and ends up in front of Twilight and Yoru. Twilight realizes that Anya is the child they have been looking for, and he decides to adopt her.

Twilight knows that he cannot reveal his true identity to Yoru or Anya, so he creates a fake identity and tells Yoru that his name is Loid and that he is a sales executive. Anya, on the other hand, believes that Loid is her new dad, and Yoru is her new mom.

The rest of the episode is about the family getting to know each other and trying to fit in. Anya is happy to have a family, but she struggles with her telepathic powers, which often lead to embarrassing situations. Yoru, on the other hand, is finding it difficult to pretend to be a wife and a mother.
