Ep 20. Collateral Damage / Just Friends

Star vs. The Forces of Evil season 2 episode 20 consists of two separate stories: "Collateral Damage" and "Just Friends".

In "Collateral Damage", Star and Marco are cleaning up Star's room when they come across a photo booth strip that shows them in various silly poses. As they reminisce about the day they took the photos, they accidentally knock over a vase that Star had been using as a portal to transport her things between dimensions. The vase breaks, and the room starts to fill up with different objects, creatures, and even people from various dimensions. Star and Marco frantically try to round up all of the escaped dimensional objects, but chaos ensues as they struggle to keep up with the constant influx of things coming through the broken portal. To make matters worse, the portal begins to malfunction even further, causing it to spew out an army of evil unicorns that threaten to destroy everything in their path. As Star and Marco try to stop the stampede of unicorns, they realize that they need to find a way to fix the portal before it's too late.

In "Just Friends", Star attends a concert with her friends. When Marco confesses to her that he has a crush on one of the band members, Star encourages him to ask her out on a date. Marco initially hesitates, but eventually works up the courage to ask the girl, Jackie, out. They go on a romantic date, but soon realize that they don't have much in common. As they try to make small talk, they both become increasingly uncomfortable, and the date ends on an awkward note. Meanwhile, Star's ex-boyfriend Tom shows up unexpectedly at the concert, and Star reluctantly agrees to hang out with him. As they catch up, Tom reveals that he still has feelings for Star and wants to get back together. Star, who is still unsure about her own feelings for Tom, is torn between her loyalty to Marco and her history with Tom.

"Collateral Damage / Just Friends" is an exciting and emotionally charged episode that showcases the complex relationships between the show's main characters. With its clever writing and hilarious antics, it's a must-see for fans of the series.
