Strange Inheritance Season 3 Episode 17 Industrial Scale Hoarder
- March 20, 2017
In season 3 episode 17 of Strange Inheritance, titled "Industrial Scale Hoarder," viewers are taken on a journey into the life of a man who spent decades amassing an incredible collection of automobiles and other treasures.
The man in question, known as Uncle Leo, was a Detroit-area resident who worked as an engineer and had a passion for all things mechanical. Over the years, he acquired an astounding collection of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other vehicles, as well as countless tools, spare parts, and other items related to his hobby.
But Leo's hoarding tendencies were not limited to his garage. He also amassed a huge collection of household items, from furniture to antiques to bric-a-brac. His house was filled to the brim with stuff, and he continued to collect more and more items until his death.
After Leo passed away, his family was left with the daunting task of sorting through his belongings and figuring out what to do with them. They quickly realized that they were facing a massive undertaking - not only did Leo have an enormous amount of stuff, but much of it was old, rusted, and in need of restoration.
As they began to sort through the collection, the family uncovered a number of surprises. For one, they discovered that not all of the vehicles in Leo's collection were the high-end models he was known for collecting. In fact, many of them were old, beat-up cars that he had rescued from junk yards and intended to fix up.
They also found evidence of Leo's creativity and ingenuity. For example, they discovered a homemade airplane that he had built from scratch, using parts from various sources. Although the plane had never taken flight, it was still an impressive feat of engineering.
Throughout the episode, viewers see the family working tirelessly to sort through Leo's collection and determine what to do with each item. Some items, such as the high-end cars, are sold at auction to collectors who appreciate their value. Others, such as the rusted-out trucks, are sold for scrap.
But not everything is so easy to part with. In particular, Leo's family struggles with what to do with the homemade airplane. The plane is too large and complex to move easily, and no one is quite sure what it's worth or how to find a buyer. Eventually, they decide to keep the plane in Leo's garage, where it will serve as a reminder of his creativity and passion.
As the episode comes to a close, viewers are left with a sense of the enormity of Leo's collection, as well as the love and dedication required to sort through it all. Despite the challenges, Leo's family is determined to honor his legacy by preserving his most valuable and meaningful possessions.
