Ep 11. First Born

The doctor tells Sam that to cure Crowley, they need to get their hands on purified blood from a demon who hasn't killed anyone. Sam and his informant track down a demon who is willing to sacrifice its own life for the cause. However, the demon is killed before they can retrieve the blood.

The episode then turns to the relationship between Cain and Dean. Cain comes to the bunker to meet with Dean, and it is revealed that Cain was the one who created the blade in the first place. After some initial tension, Cain agrees to tell Dean the story of how he became a knight of hell. The story is a tragic one about love, sacrifice, and betrayal. Cain reveals that he may have a way to kill Abaddon for good - but it involves giving the First Blade to Dean and teaching him how to master it.

The rest of the episode follows Dean and Cain's journey to master the blade. Cain teaches Dean how to control his rage and direct it towards his enemy. They come up against some obstacles along the way, including a trap set by Abaddon, but they ultimately succeed. When they finally come face to face with Abaddon, they engage in a fierce battle, with the aid of the newly-powered Sam and Crowley.
