Survive the Tribe is a reality TV series that explores the lives and living styles of five different tribal communities that have survived throughout centuries under some of the harshest conditions in the world. In the first episode of season 1 titled Blood Warriors, the show takes the audience deep into the Amazon rainforest where we meet the Waorani tribe.

The Waorani are known for being the most feared and isolated tribe in the Amazon, with little to no contact with the outside world. The tribe has lived in the Amazon rainforest for generations, and have adapted well to their environment, turning into expert hunters and gatherers. The episode follows the life of the tribe's chief, Moi Enomenga, as he takes on a challenge to take an outsider, survival expert and former US Marine, Hazen Audel, on a hunting expedition deep into the Amazon jungle.

The episode starts with Hazen Audel introducing himself and explaining his mission - to learn and survive the way the Waorani tribe does, hunting and gathering for food and shelter, deep into the Amazon jungle. Hazen is dropped off in the middle of the jungle, with nothing but his backpack and a few tools, and he sets out on his journey to meet the Waorani tribe. Hazen soon realizes how challenging the journey is when he is forced to cross a raging river and finds himself having to eat ants for sustenance.

When Hazen arrives at the Waorani tribe's village, he is met with friendly faces, but he soon understands how different their way of living is from his own. Hazen would have to hunt with handmade spears, traps, and bows to survive in the jungle, while also gathering and sorting edible plants, which the tribal women, including the chief’s daughter, Camatcho, are good at.

Moi Enomenga takes Hazen under his wing, and the two set out to hunt peccaries deep within the jungle. The Waorani tribe is known to be fearsome hunters, and Hazen would soon discover just how good they are. The hunting process is strenuous and takes a toll on Hazen, who is not used to this kind of physical activity.

The next few days become a rollercoaster of emotions for Hazen, as he learns more about the Waorani tribe, their way of living, and how to survive the Amazon. He also becomes close friends with Camatcho, who shows him how to prepare some of the plants they had gathered. The tribe shows Hazen how to make a shelter, keeping him safe from the dangers of the jungle.

The episode climaxes when Hazen and Moi Enomenga accidentally walk deep into a rival tribe’s territory, known for being hostile and violent. The Waiorani tribe is known for their fierce defense against outside aggressors and maintains a “zero contact” policy. Hazen and Moi Enomenga must quickly improvise and find their way out of the rival tribe’s territory without getting caught.

Survive the Tribe showcases people who have survived and adapted to the challenges of their environment. The first episode of season 1, Blood Warriors, is a gripping story that explores the lives of the Waorani tribe, their way of living, and the harsh conditions they face in the Amazon rainforest. The show is an eye-opener and is sure to impact audiences profoundly.
