Tip of the Hat to the Devils is the fourth episode of the fourth season of the hit series Tanked. This episode follows the team at Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (ATM) as they take on a unique challenge - building a devil-themed tank for a client who is an avid collector of all things related to the supernatural.
The episode begins with the client, Joe, meeting with Wayde and Brett at the ATM headquarters in Las Vegas. Joe is a self-proclaimed "devil enthusiast" and has a vast collection of devil-themed memorabilia. He explains to Wayde and Brett that he wants to add a custom devil-themed tank to his collection and gives them a rough idea of what he's looking for.
Wayde and Brett are excited about the challenge and begin brainstorming ideas. They decide to create a tank that resembles the infamous statue of Satan from the film "The Devil's Advocate." The tank will be 12 feet long and will feature a variety of devil-themed elements, including devil horns, pitchforks, and flames.
The team gets to work on the tank, starting with the framework. They use a combination of steel and acrylic to create the base of the tank and then begin shaping the various devil-themed elements. The horns are made from a combination of fiberglass and resin, while the pitchforks are sculpted from foam and then coated in a layer of resin.
As the tank begins to take shape, the team starts to run into some challenges. The tank is much bigger and more complicated than anything they've ever created before, and they have to make sure that all of the components fit together perfectly. They also have to ensure that the tank is safe for the fish that will live inside it.
Despite the challenges, Wayde and Brett manage to stay positive and keep pushing forward. They work long hours, often ending up at the shop well past midnight. But as the tank starts to come together, they know that all of their hard work will be worth it in the end.
Finally, the day arrives for the tank to be installed in Joe's home. Wayde and Brett transport the tank to Joe's house and begin the installation process. They carefully lower the tank into place and then begin filling it with water. As the water level rises, the team adds the finishing touches - including a custom devil-themed background and a variety of exotic fish.
When the tank is finally complete, Joe is blown away. He can't believe how amazing it looks and is thrilled with the attention to detail. Wayde and Brett are equally thrilled, knowing that they've successfully created one of the most unique tanks they've ever built.
Tip of the Hat to the Devils is another example of what makes Tanked such a great show - it's full of creativity, excitement, and passion. Watching the team at ATM take on this unique challenge is both entertaining and inspiring. Whether you're a fan of fish tanks or the devil, this episode is definitely worth a watch.
