In episode 9 of Teachers season 2, titled "In Security," the faculty at Fillmore Elementary are feeling a bit uneasy after a break-in at the school. Ms. Watson (Kate Lambert) is especially on edge, as every noise she hears sends her into a panic. Meanwhile, Ms. Feldman (Cate Freedman) takes a more proactive approach to the situation and decides to teach her students about security by incorporating a lockdown drill into their lesson plan.
As the day goes on, Ms. Snap (Katy Colloton) becomes increasingly more paranoid and sets up her own surveillance system in the classroom. However, when the cameras catch something unexpected, Ms. Snap realizes that she may have been overreacting. Elsewhere, Ms. Cannon (Caitlin Barlow) tries to prove that she is not as clumsy as everyone thinks, but her attempts at being graceful only prove to be futile.
Throughout the episode, the teachers' various insecurities are on full display and they must learn to face them head-on in order to feel secure in their own skin. From Ms. Watson's fear of the dark to Ms. Feldman's need for control, each character's vulnerabilities are explored in a humorous and relatable way.
As always, Teachers delivers laugh-out-loud moments and clever social commentary, making "In Security" a standout episode in the series.
