In the episode titled "Staring at the Future" of Teen Titans Go! season 1, the titular superheroes find themselves transported to the future. This episode starts with the Titans arriving in Jump City after their latest mission. However, they quickly realize that something is different. The city seems a lot quieter and emptier than usual, and everything looks more advanced.

When the Titans investigate further, they are surprised to find out that twenty years have passed since they last saw the city. They are shocked to encounter their future selves, who aren't the same as they used to be. Their future selves aren't the fearless crime-fighters they once were. They're more laid-back, enjoying time by lounging beside a pool, eating snacks, and watching TV. They have taken over the city in a way that they never expected.

The Titans' future selves explain that they have been studying time travel, and they show off their time machine, which is shaped like a giant banana. The younger Titans are eager to test the time machine, but their future selves warn them to be careful, as they could create a time paradox that would destroy the entire universe.

Despite the future Titans' warnings, the younger Titans can't resist the temptation of time travel. They decide to go back in time to fix the past mistakes of their future selves. Robin gets a chance to reunite with Batgirl, Beast Boy confronts his fear of heights, Cyborg tries to save a kid who had been bullied, and Raven tries to change her future in any possible way.

However, things go awry, leading them to an alternate future. In this alternate timeline, the Titans find themselves in a world where an evil villain had conquered Jump City, and their future selves had failed to protect it. They must defeat this villain and fix the timeline before it's too late.

The episode is filled with fun and jokes, as well as a few emotional moments. The Titans' future selves reflect on the choices they have made in life and how it has shaped their future. However, they also realize that they may have missed out on significant opportunities in life by focusing too much on crime-fighting.

Overall, "Staring at the Future" is an entertaining and thought-provoking episode that explores the consequences of time-travel and the different paths that our choices can lead us on. Fans of the show will enjoy seeing their favorite superheroes taking on new challenges and taking a glimpse into their possible future.
