The Academy Awards (The Oscars) Season 78 Episode 1 The 78th Annual Academy Awards

This year's Oscar for Best Picture seems to focus on the controversial Brokeback Mountain and the summer release Crash. But will a split in voting between those two movies give way for any of the three other films to take home the big prize? Capote, Good Luck and Good Night, or Munich are also nominated for the Best Picture Oscar. Ang Lee will also try to become the first Asian Director to ever win the Best Directing award. Brokeback Mountain leads the way with eight nominations. Crash, Good Luck and Good Night, and Memoirs of a Geisha has six nominations.
