Jim Bowie's good friend, Justinian Tebbs, is mistaken for a fugitive from justice, and the error leads to an exciting chase. Neither Jim nor Justy knows that the fugitive is a real killer with the U.S. Army after him, and they befriend him, thinking him innocent and fleeing from bounty hunters. When they realize who he is, Jim helps bring the fugitive in.
