Once the teams arrive at their destination, they are greeted by the locals, who welcome them with traditional Maasai dances and a feast. The next morning, the teams must complete a task that involves carrying a traditional Maasai warrior's shield and spear across a designated distance before receiving their next clue.

The penultimate task involves searching for a Maasai word hidden in a vast field of grass. The teams must search through the tall grass while being mindful of the diverse wildlife present in the reserve. Some teams struggle to locate the hidden word, while others are successful.

The final task involves navigating through the reserve to locate an animal sanctuary, where they will receive their next set of clues. Teams must traverse through the vast African wilderness and overcome obstacles such as mud, which makes for a challenging expedition.
