Ep 8. We Was Robbed

The Amazing Race season 21 episode 8, titled "We Was Robbed," starts with the six remaining teams travelling from Istanbul, Turkey, to Moscow, Russia. From there, teams have to go to the local train station and board a train to their next destination, the town of Lopatino.

The episode begins with the teams already on the train to Lopatino. When they arrive, they have to find a local business where they will receive their next clue. Once they arrive, they must take part in a traditional Russian dance and dress up in traditional Russian clothing before receiving their next clue.

The next challenge is a Detour, which allows teams to choose between two tasks: "Stacked Up" or "Strung Out." "Stacked Up" involves stacking Russian dolls up to a specific height, while "Strung Out" involves stringing together matryoshka dolls. Depending on which task they choose, teams need to work together to complete the challenge and obtain their next clue.

After the Detour, teams are given a Roadblock challenge. One team member must find the right key to unlock a series of locks holding a raft on the riverbank. Once they've unlocked all the locks, one team member must ride the raft across the river to the next clue.

The final challenge for the episode is a "Switchback," which is a challenge from a previous season of the show. The teams must race through a muddy pit with obstacles, such as muddy walls, cargo nets, and tires. The team that crosses the finish line first will win the leg of the race and a trip to Bali.

Throughout the episode, teams face various obstacles and challenges, including communication barriers, physical demands, and strategic decisions. They must work together and push themselves to their limits to stay in the race and move one step closer to winning the grand prize. As the teams race toward the finish line, tensions escalate, and the competition becomes more intense, leading to an exciting and unpredictable outcome.
