Ep 9. Leg 9

The Amazing Race season 29 episode 9, titled Leg 9, follows the remaining six teams as they travel from Venice, Italy to Hanoi, Vietnam. The episode begins with the teams racing to catch a flight out of Venice, with one team struggling to make it and ultimately facing a penalty. Upon arrival in Hanoi, the teams must navigate the chaotic streets on motorbikes to reach the next clue.

The teams face multiple challenges throughout the leg, including a Roadblock that requires one team member to climb a bamboo ladder while carrying weighted baskets of fish. Another challenge involves finding a specific white tablet hidden in a bowl of green water spinach soup at a restaurant in the city. The teams also visit historical landmarks such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Temple of Literature.

As the leg progresses, tensions rise between some of the teams, leading to disagreements and arguments. One team makes a risky decision that pays off while another suffers a setback due to a miscommunication.

The episode culminates in a suspenseful foot race to the Pit Stop, with the first team to arrive earning a valuable advantage for the next leg of the race.
