The teams are then directed to travel to a nearby Berber village, where they must complete a Detour. The first option is "Don't Sweat It," where teams must navigate a maze of narrow alleyways and staircases to find a specific rooftop terrace. Once there, they must use a local gymnasium and complete a series of physical challenges. The second option is "Just Let It Slide," where teams must ride down a specially constructed zip-line, collecting flags along the way. Once all the flags have been collected, they must find a local nomad and trade them for their next clue.

The leg concludes with a final challenge that sees the teams navigate a series of ancient souks to find a hidden courtyard. Once there, they must search for a chalice and bring it back to the starting point. The first team to complete the challenge wins a prize, while the last team to arrive is eliminated from the race.

This leg of the race is full of exciting challenges that showcase the unique beauty and culture of Morocco.
