Ep 9. Tell My Mom I Love Her

In this episode of "The Amazing Race" season 6, entitled "Tell My Mom I Love Her," the remaining teams continue their journey through China. The teams start off by traveling from Hong Kong to Shanghai, where they must locate the Bund Observatory and complete a riddle to receive their next clue.

Once they have their clue, teams must make their way to the Jin Mao Tower and find a clue box on the 88th floor. From there, they must travel to the Yuyuan Garden and locate a man holding a traditional Chinese lantern, who will tell them where to find their next clue.

After finding their clue, the teams must travel to the Oriental Pearl Tower and take the elevator to the 351-meter-high observation deck. From there, they must use binoculars to spot different landmarks and figure out a code that will unlock their next clue.

After completing this challenge, teams must travel to the Songjiang University Town and find a specific building on the campus. There, they must search for a red envelope hidden in one of the rooms. This challenge proves to be especially difficult for some teams, who struggle to find the right building or search every room thoroughly enough.

Soon enough, teams receive their next clue, which directs them to make their way to the Yuanshen Sports Center Stadium. Once there, they must run a foot race around the track, with the last team to finish being eliminated from the race.

The remaining teams are then given a clue that leads them to the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel, where they must take a ride through the tunnel to reach their final destination for this leg of the race: the Shiliupu Dock.

At the dock, teams must find a specific boat and board it to receive their next clue. This task proves to be challenging for most of the teams, as they struggle to locate the right boat and then navigate their way through the busy dock to board it.

Once aboard the boat, the teams must work together to complete a final challenge: they must use a traditional Chinese knot to tie a rope to a buoy in the water. This task proves to be especially difficult for some teams, as one teammate must stand on the bow of the boat while the other teammate throws them the rope from the stern.

Overall, this leg of "The Amazing Race" proves to be a difficult one for the remaining teams, as they face challenges involving riddles, physical endurance, and teamwork. Will all of the teams make it to the next leg of the race, or will one team be eliminated before they have a chance to compete for the million-dollar prize?
