Ep 6. Mobab

The Brak Show season 1 episode 6, titled "Mobab," follows Brak, his family, and their extraterrestrial neighbors in their misadventures in live-action settings.

The episode begins with Brak returning home from a long day of work, only to be greeted by a swarm of Mobabs, small furry creatures that have invaded his home. Brak soon learns that the Mobabs have taken over the entire neighborhood, and the only way to get rid of them is to capture their queen.

Brak and his neighbor, Thundercleese, team up to retrieve the Mobab queen from a nearby farm. However, they soon discover that the queen is not willing to go without a fight. With Thundercleese's help, Brak is able to capture the queen and return her to her rightful place in the Mobab hive.

Meanwhile, Brak's mother, Zorak, is dealing with her own Mobab problem. She has become the leader of a group of Mobabs and is struggling to keep them in line. In an attempt to assert her authority, Zorak banishes a Mobab from the group, only to regret her decision when she realizes how much she misses the creature's company.

Throughout the episode, the family deals with various Mobab-related mishaps, from trying to dispose of a large pile of Mobab poop to accidentally ingesting a Mobab egg. Ultimately, they are able to work together to overcome the Mobab invasion and return their neighborhood to its normal state.

As with previous episodes, "Mobab" incorporates live-action footage with animated characters. The humor is light-hearted and silly, with plenty of puns and slapstick moments. The episode also continues to develop the characters' personalities, with Zorak's leadership skills and Brak's work ethic coming to the forefront. Overall, "Mobab" is an enjoyable addition to the first season of The Brak Show.
