The Cafe is a English sitcom produced by Sky1 Broadcasting, written by Ralf Little and Michelle Terry with music composed by Adam Lipinski. The Cafe Stars Ralf Little, Ellie Haddington, Michelle Terry, June Watson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Kevin Trainor, David Troughton, Seeta Indrani, Brain Murphy, Marcia Warren, Carolin Stoltz, Daniel Ings, Jack Roth and Robert Glenister. The intro title song for the series was the pop song, Beyond the Sea by K. Williams.

The first season is composed of only six episodes whilst the second contains seven.

Co-written by the two primary leads, The Cafe tells the tale of the residents and their life at the idyllic seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare. More specifically the series focuses in on events surrounding the town's favored cafe, Cyril's, and the wacky goings on that occur there. In the first episode the town cafe is thrown into chaos when a flamboyant event manager from London appears at the town to see his ailing mother.

The Cafe Full Episode Guide

  • Things are looking pretty rosy with our gang in Weston. Sarah's looking forward to some quality time with Richard. The ice seems to be thawing between Phil and his daughter, while Stan's plan to propose isn't going quite so well.

  • The circus is in town, the internet is down, Phil is due in half an hour to start photographing The Café and what is that smell?

  • Brenda's new tourist brochure will put Weston on the map. But even Brenda couldn't predict that the photographer she booked would put the cat amongst the seagulls. It's Phil, errant husband to Carol and father to Sarah, returning after ten years.

  • It's Carol's birthday and she's got a very difficult decision to make.

  • Brenda Kiely makes her formal offer to Carol for the lease of Cyril's.

  • A night out at Sing Along Sound of Music gets everyone excited.

  • Carol launches her exclusive new menu in an attempt to appeal to a wider clientele.

  • The Dobsons are in for afternoon tea, but which goes first, the jam or the cream? Fortunately Stan is on hand to referee the dispute, giving Sarah a chance to make some calls to agents and see if any of them are interested in the children's stories she has been writing. John is still in town but for how long, and will the spark between him and Sarah have a chance to ignite?

  • Richard orders a new car on the internet as John pulls up outside the Café in his Porsche.
