In The Cult of Cartman season 1 episode 10, named Up the Down Steroid, the focus is once again on one of South Park's most iconic characters - Eric Cartman. This time around, Cartman wants to participate in the Special Olympics as a way of winning a $1,000 bet with Kyle. However, his plan to pretend to be disabled backfires when he's actually put into the category of those with a legitimate intellectual disability.

The episode begins with Cartman announcing that he is going to enter the Special Olympics in order to win the prize money. His initial plan is to try and pass himself off as someone with a disability by pretending to have Down Syndrome. However, this plan quickly falls apart when he meets with a doctor who realizes that Cartman is faking and decides to actually test him to see if he has a disability.

Much to Cartman's surprise, he is diagnosed with a mild intellectual disability and is put into the category of athletes who have Down Syndrome. While Cartman is initially horrified at the prospect of being lumped in with the other Special Olympic athletes, he quickly realizes that this may be his ticket to the prize money.

Throughout the episode, we follow Cartman as he trains for the Special Olympics and tries to manipulate the other athletes into doing what he wants. However, he soon realizes that he has underestimated his competition, especially Jimmy, who is a formidable opponent in the games.

As the Special Olympics draw near, Cartman becomes more desperate to win and resorts to cheating in order to ensure his victory. He even goes so far as to inject himself with steroids, hoping that it will give him an edge over the other athletes.

When the day of the games arrives, Cartman is feeling confident and sure that he will be able to take home the prize money. However, things don't go quite according to plan. Cartman's cheating is discovered, and he is immediately disqualified from the games.

The remainder of the episode follows Cartman as he deals with the aftermath of his cheating and comes to terms with the fact that he will never be able to win the prize money. Throughout it all, we see the true depths of Cartman's selfishness and his willingness to do whatever it takes to get what he wants.

In the end, The Cult of Cartman season 1 episode 10 is a darkly comedic look at the lengths people will go to in order to win, even if it means cheating and hurting others in the process. Through Cartman's antics, we see the dangers of selfishness and the importance of fair play, even in something as seemingly innocuous as the Special Olympics.
