Salma Hayek and Jennifer Hudson are the featured guests on today's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. As usual, Ellen starts off the show with her signature dance moves and contagious energy, much to the delight of the audience. She then welcomes her guests to the show, starting with Salma Hayek.

Salma Hayek is an award-winning actress, producer, and director. She is known for her roles in films like Frida, Desperado, and From Dusk Till Dawn. In her interview with Ellen, Salma talks about the inspiration behind her recent role in the film The Hitman's Bodyguard, which also stars Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. She also discusses her role as executive producer of the upcoming Netflix series Monarca, a Mexican drama series that delves into the corrupt world of wealthy Mexican elites. Salma reveals that the inspiration for the show came from her own experiences growing up in Mexico. Ellen and Salma have a fun conversation about the intricacies of the Spanish language, which leads Ellen to attempt to learn a few phrases from Salma.

After Salma's interview, Jennifer Hudson takes the stage. Jennifer is a Grammy and Academy Award-winning singer and actress who first rose to fame on the third season of American Idol. She has since gone on to star in films like Dreamgirls and Sing, as well as television shows like Empire. In her interview with Ellen, Jennifer talks about her role as a coach on the upcoming season of The Voice. She also discusses her upcoming role as Aretha Franklin in the biopic Respect, which is set to hit theaters in August of 2021. Jennifer talks about the challenge of portraying such an iconic figure and reveals that she received guidance and advice from Aretha Franklin herself before she passed away.

Throughout the episode, Ellen finds plenty of opportunities to make her guests and the audience laugh. She surprises Salma with a silly and unexpected game, and later gets Jennifer to play a game of "Song Association," where she challenges Jennifer to come up with a song that incorporates a certain word or phrase. Both Salma and Jennifer are great sports and seem to be having a wonderful time on the show.

In addition to her interviews with Salma and Jennifer, Ellen also has some surprises in store for the audience. She invites out a group of dancers who recently went viral for their "Flip the Switch" challenge, where two people switch places in a blink of an eye. She also introduces a young girl who is a self-proclaimed super fan of Salma Hayek, and surprises her with a special meet and greet with her idol.

As always, Ellen ends the show with a message of love and kindness, encouraging her viewers to be kind to one another and to spread positivity wherever they go.
