Ep 2. A Flash of the Lightning

As they move ahead in their pursuit, they are ambushed by the Black Hole and are captured. The Black Hole gets hold of Jay and Barry and tries to use them for their own benefit. However, Barry being The Flash, manages to escape from their trap along with Jay. Together, they come up with a plan to shut down the Black Hole once and for all. The plan involves stopping the leader of the Black Hole, a man known as "The Monitor," who is capable of manipulating time and space.

Barry and Jay find The Monitor and engage in a battle with him. It is a tough fight, but they manage to overpower him and destroy the device that he was using to control the city. With the city free of the Black Hole's control, time goes back to normal and everything is restored. The citizens of the Central City are ready to move on from the crisis, but Barry knows that this is just the beginning of something much bigger.
