Ep 4. There Will Be Blood

The researcher revealed that Ramsey Rosso had stolen his research and that the serum was just the tip of the iceberg.

Barry and the team realize that Ramsey's cure is made by artificially increasing the blood's adrenaline and potentially turning it toxic. They confront Ramsey at his lab, and after a brief fight, Ramsey injects himself with the serum, turning him into a monster. Barry and the team find themselves fighting a bloodthirsty monster who is fueled by rage and whose strength grows with every passing second. Caitlin realizes that Ramsey's blood cells are regenerating and feeding off of his adrenaline, making him immortal.

The episode ends with the revelation that Ramsey is not the only one who has been experimenting with blood cures. A mysterious person with their own blood cure is watching Barry and the team closely, preparing to take them on.
