In this episode of The Getaway season 2, we follow comedian and actor Jack McBrayer on his journey through Hawaii. McBrayer, best known for his role as Kenneth Parcell on the hit TV show 30 Rock, is not one to shy away from adventure. Hawaii has always been on his bucket list, and in this episode, he gets to explore its many natural wonders and indulge in its rich culture.

The episode begins with McBrayer arriving in Honolulu and heading straight to Waikiki beach for some surfing lessons. He is a bit nervous, but his instructor takes him through the basics, and he manages to catch a few waves. McBrayer is a natural comedian, and his wit and humor shine through as he chats with his instructor.

Next, McBrayer heads to the North Shore, where he visits the Polynesian Cultural Center. Here, he learns about the various Polynesian cultures through traditional dances, songs, and food. He even tries his hand at hula dancing, much to the delight of the audience. The center is a tribute to the rich and diverse cultures of the Pacific, and McBrayer is clearly in awe of what he sees and experiences.

McBrayer then heads to the island of Molokai, which is known for its rugged terrain and abundant wildlife. Here, he goes on a Jeep tour into the island's interior, where he encounters some of Hawaii's most iconic animals, including the endangered Nene goose and the Hawaiian green sea turtle. McBrayer's excitement is palpable as he sees these animals up close and personal.

After his Jeep tour, McBrayer heads to the historic town of Kaunakakai, where he visits the Kanemitsu Bakery for some of the famous hot bread. The bakery has been a fixture in the town for over 80 years, and McBrayer gets a sense of the town's rich history as he indulges in the warm, freshly baked bread.

The episode then takes a more somber turn, as McBrayer visits the Kalaupapa Peninsula, where patients suffering from leprosy were once quarantined. The peninsula was a place of great sadness and isolation for many, and McBrayer shows great empathy as he learns about the history of the site and the people who were forced to live there. Despite the sadness of the location, however, McBrayer finds hope in the stories of the patients who found happiness and love despite their circumstances.

Finally, McBrayer heads back to the mainland for his last adventure in Hawaii, a hike up the Diamond Head crater. The hike is both challenging and rewarding, and McBrayer marvels at the stunning views from the top. He also gets a chance to reflect on his time in Hawaii and what he has learned about its culture, history, and people.

Overall, Jack McBrayer's trip to Hawaii in this episode of The Getaway season 2 is a true adventure. His energy and humor are infectious, and he clearly has a deep appreciation for the beauty and wonder of Hawaii. Through his journey, viewers learn about the history, culture, and natural wonders of Hawaii, and are sure to want to pack their bags and head to the islands themselves.
