Ep 15. So Swayze It's Crazy

Beverly Goldberg and her husband Murray house their three children, Erica, Barry, and Adam in 1980s Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. In this episode, titled "So Swayze It's Crazy," the middle child Barry has secured a job as the school's mascot, a sweat-drenched costume practically guaranteed to make him the target of ridicule from his peers. A typically boisterous and overbearing mother, Beverly takes this opportunity to meddle with the school's direction and suggest a more fashionable mascot – one modeled after Patrick Swayze's character in the movie "Road House."

Meanwhile, Adam's girlfriend Jackie secretly loves Swayze's other iconic film, "Dirty Dancing," despite Adam's hatred for the movie. When his girlfriend finds out Swayze is in town filming a movie, Adam is tasked with photographing the film set and securing an autograph for Jackie. But with his camera broken and his hatred for Swayze preventing him from embracing his inner fanboy, Adam contemplates giving up on the quest entirely.
