Ep 12. Dinner with the Goldbergs

The Goldbergs season 5 episode 12, titled "Dinner with the Goldbergs," follows the Goldberg family as they prepare for a fancy dinner party at their home. Beverly, the matriarch of the family, is excited to show off her hosting skills and impress their guests. However, as the day of the dinner approaches, things start to go awry.

First, Adam, the youngest son, accidentally ruins his dad Murray's lucky shirt, which he was planning on wearing to the party. This sends Murray into a panic, as he believes that without his lucky shirt, the dinner will be a disaster. Meanwhile, Erica, the elder daughter, is struggling to finish a paper and needs her mom's help. However, Beverly is too busy with the party planning and can't seem to find the time.

To add to the chaos, Barry, the elder son, is trying to impress his girlfriend by cooking one of her favorite dishes for the party. However, he quickly realizes that he has no idea how to cook and enlists the help of his best friend Geoff. The two of them end up making a huge mess in the kitchen, causing even more stress for Beverly.
