Ep 11. Quaker Warden

A description for The Goldbergs season 8 episode 11 named Quaker Warden is as follows:

The episode starts off with Beverly being excited about the Quaker Warden contest happening in her hometown. She insists that Murray participates in the contest, but Murray isn't interested as he has never won any contests before. Meanwhile, Adam is trying to make a movie with his friends as he needs to submit a project for his film-making class. But things don't go according to plan as his friends have other things to do.

Beverly manages to convince Murray to participate in the Quaker Warden contest by telling him that it is an opportunity for him to show everyone that he is a good leader. Murray agrees to participate but doesn't expect much from it. He is surprised to see that many people have come to attend the contest and are cheering him on.

Adam is struggling to come up with ideas for his movie. He is unsure of what to make and can't seem to find any inspiration. Erica suggests that he makes a movie about Murray participating in the contest. Adam thinks it's a good idea but is unsure of how to go about it.

Murray is doing well in the contest and is leading the pack. However, things take a turn when one of the contestants, a young boy, starts having trouble with his bike. Murray stops to help the boy and loses his lead. However, he manages to catch up and takes the lead again. But just as he is about to cross the finish line, he stops to help the boy again.

Adam decides to make the movie about Murray helping the boy and how it shows that he is a good leader. He interviews Murray and gets footage of him in the contest. The movie turns out to be a hit and Adam gets an A in his class.

The episode ends with Murray winning the Quaker Warden contest. He is swarmed by people congratulating him and telling him how proud they are of him. Beverly is happy that Murray listened to her and participated in the contest. Adam is happy that he got an A in his class and that his movie was a success. The family, as a whole, is happy and proud of each other.
