As the eleventh season of The Graham Norton Show kicks off, the charismatic host welcomes a star-studded lineup to his iconic red couch. First up is Ewan McGregor, the Scottish actor known for his roles in Trainspotting, Moulin Rouge!, and Star Wars. McGregor chats with Norton about his recent film, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, and his much-anticipated return to the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi in a forthcoming Disney+ series.

Next to join the couch is Cate Blanchett, the Australian actress and two-time Academy Award winner. Blanchett discusses her role in the critically acclaimed film Carol, as well as her work with the Sydney Theatre Company, which she co-ran with her husband for several years.

Michael Sheen, the Welsh actor and political activist, takes his turn on the couch next. Sheen talks about his recent portrayal of Chris Tarrant in the ITV drama Quiz, which tells the story of the infamous Millionaire coughing scandal. He also discusses his role in the new Neil Gaiman adaptation Good Omens, in which he plays the angel Aziraphale.

Comedian Matt Lucas is the fourth guest to join the lineup, and he brings his usual irreverence and wit to the conversation. Lucas talks about his involvement in the new Doctor Who series, in which he plays a recurring character named Nardole. He also discusses his personal life and his recent decision to lose weight and get fit.

Finally, British rock band Keane takes the couch for a musical performance. The band, known for hits like "Somewhere Only We Know" and "Everybody's Changing", performs their latest single, "Silenced by the Night", to the delight of the audience.

Throughout the episode, Norton keeps the conversation lively and entertaining, drawing out hilarious anecdotes and candid moments from each of his guests. From McGregor's embarrassing fan encounter to Blanchett's surprisingly humble beginnings, the episode is packed full of charming and amusing moments.
