Ep 15. Ghost of a Chance

On The Invisible Man season 1, episode 15, titled Ghost of a Chance, Darien Fawkes is enlisted to help a ghost seeking revenge against her murderer. The episode opens with Darien and Hobbes investigating a pair of bank robbers who are using a cloaking device. While the duo manages to catch the robbers, they stumble upon a young woman named Rachel who appears to be a ghost. Rachel reveals that she was murdered by her boyfriend and wants Fawkes to avenge her death. Darien is skeptical at first but soon finds himself working with Rachel to uncover the truth behind her murder.

As Darien and Rachel set out to find evidence against her killer, they encounter a number of obstacles. Rachel's boyfriend, a wealthy and powerful man named Henry, has a lot of resources at his disposal, including a team of lawyers and security personnel. While Darien is able to use his invisibility to gather some information, he’s ultimately stumped when he realizes that Henry has a security system that can detect his presence.

Meanwhile, Hobbes is dealing with his own problems. He’s being dragged to court by his ex-wife and is continually conflicted about his feelings for Darien's sister. With Hobbes distracted, Darien is left to fend for himself, leading to several close calls and dangerous situations.

As the investigation heats up, Darien starts to piece together the events leading up to Rachel's death. He discovers that she was due to inherit a large sum of money from her parents but that her boyfriend had other plans. Henry had murdered Rachel in order to collect the money himself. Armed with this information, Darien sets out to bring Henry to justice and give Rachel the peace she deserves.

The episode ends with a tense showdown between Darien and Henry. With the help of Hobbes, Darien is able to outsmart Henry and bring him to justice. Rachel is finally able to rest in peace, and Darien gains a new appreciation for the power of his invisibility. But as the episode comes to a close, it's clear that both Darien and Hobbes have a lot of personal issues to sort out before they can truly move on from this case.
