The Jungle Bunch is an animated television series that premiered in 2011 and is now airing on Universal Kids. It follows the adventures of a group of animal friends who live in the African jungle, lead by a heroic penguin named Maurice, voiced by Emmanuel Curtil. Maurice has always been an outsider in the jungle due to his unusual upbringing. Raised by a tigress, he has taken on many feline characteristics, including the ability to use his claws and pounce like a tiger. His unique skills have enabled him to become the leader of a group of misfit animals who have banded together to form the Jungle Bunch. The other members of the group include a gorilla named Miguel, a bat named Batty, a goldfish named Gilbert, a pangolin named Gilbert, and a lemur named Al.

The Jungle Bunch spend their days exploring the jungle, solving problems, and keeping the peace. Maurice is always on the lookout for trouble and when he spots anything amiss, he springs into action. The other members of the group are always eager to help and use their own unique abilities to assist in any way they can.

Despite their differences, the members of the Jungle Bunch are all great friends who share a deep bond. They support each other through thick and thin and always have each other's backs. The show emphasizes the importance of teamwork, friendship, and bravery.

Each episode of The Jungle Bunch features a new adventure for the gang to embark on. They face a wide range of challenges, from dangerous predators to environmental issues, and work together to come up with creative solutions. The show also includes a strong environmental message, encouraging viewers to respect and protect the natural world around them.

The voice acting in the show is top-notch. Emmanuel Curtil is fantastic as Maurice, bringing a depth and humanity to the character that really shines through.
