Ep 9. Out of the Past

Korra and the gang continue their search for the spirit energy disrupter, with the help of Tenzin's sister Kya and her flying bison. As they journey through the snowy wastelands, Korra starts having strange visions of Aang and other past Avatars. Meanwhile, Tenzin and his siblings reunite with their childhood friend, a non-bender named Bumi who has some surprising news about their father, Aang.

Things take a darker turn when they finally reach the Fire Nation, where they discover that the spirit energy disrupter is being used to rip open a portal to the spirit world. Korra and the others sneak into the palace to try and stop the Fire Nation's plans, but they are soon discovered and forced to fight off wave after wave of soldiers.
