Ep 6. The Sting

Korra and the rest of Team Avatar are still processing the aftermath of their battle with the Northern Water Tribe, as well as the revelation that the spirit world may be in danger. Meanwhile, Varick's plan to profit off the war effort takes a darker turn as Varrick and his assistant Zhu Li hire Bolin and Asami as their actors for a propaganda film promoting the war effort. During the filming, Bolin learns of Varrick's true intentions and the two are forced to go on the run from Varrick's hired henchmen, with the help of Eska and Desna. Asami and Mako, who are on their way to meet with Iroh to get help for the Southern Water Tribe, get caught up in the crossfire when an explosion rocks the ship they're on. Meanwhile, Korra discovers that Tenzin's siblings, Kya and Bumi, may also be airbenders, prompting her to go on a journey to find and recruit them to rebuild the Air Nation. The episode ends with Varrick appearing to double-cross the Southern Water Tribe and Bolin and Asami's whereabouts still unknown.
