The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 1 Episode 1 Game On

After being kicked off the now-competitive Mighty Ducks team, 12-year-old Evan Morrow struggles to find a new sense of purpose. Enter Alex Morrow, Evan's mother and the new owner of the Don't Bothers, a ragtag group of misfits who also happen to love hockey. Despite Evan's initial reluctance to join the team, he eventually caves and decides to give it a try.

As the Don't Bothers get ready for their first game, they quickly realize they have a lot of work to do to even be remotely competitive. They lack basic skills like skating and passing, and their goalie doesn't even own any pads. However, with some help from Alex and their coach, Gordon Bombay (yes, THAT Gordon Bombay), the team starts to come together. They even manage to recruit some new players, including Nick, a skilled but overconfident hockey player looking for a team to call his own.

As the Don't Bothers continue to train, they clash with the Mighty Ducks, who are now a high-powered, win-at-all-costs team. When the Ducks coach discovers Evan playing for the Don't Bothers, he offers him a chance to rejoin the Ducks. Evan is tempted but ultimately decides to stick with his new team, even if it means losing badly in their first game.

The episode ends with the Don't Bothers gearing up for their game against the Ducks, determined to prove that they belong on the ice just as much as anyone else.
