Ep 4. The New Era

Ryan, Seth, and Marissa start their senior year at Harbor High, each with their own goals and anxieties. Ryan is determined to make the most of his second chance at school, while Seth is hopeful that he and Summer can rekindle their relationship. Meanwhile, Marissa struggles to find her place in the new social order at school, and discovers that her history with Johnny is still impacting her relationships.

As the kids navigate their way through their first days back at school, they encounter various new characters, including Harbor's new Dean of Discipline, Dean Hess. She struggles to fit in with the other trailer park residents, and is determined to find a way out of her situation. When she enlists the help of Kaitlin's father, Jimmy Cooper, the two begin to reconnect and reminisce about their past together.

As tensions rise at school and in the trailer park, the episode builds towards a dramatic climax that will have lasting implications for all the characters involved.
