Slava uses his power as the new head doctor to try to limit the number of patients that can be brought into the hospital. Meanwhile an elderly woman is brought in with her granddaughter after mysteriously falling ill one morning. It turns out that there is a bigger issue with her. A man comes in after feeling severe stomach pain. Galya and Stepa deal with issues with her son.
