Ep 20. Have Hope
The Seven Deadly Sins season 3 episode 20 is titled "Have Hope." This episode takes place after the events of the previous episode, where King and Diane fought against Chandler and Cusack. In this episode, we see Ban and Meliodas finally reunited after being separated for so long.
The episode opens with a brief glimpse into what's happening with the rest of the crew. We see Gowther and Merlin talking about King and Diane's fight, while Escanor and Hawk are shown sleeping in a field. However, most of the episode centers around Ban and Meliodas.
Ban and Meliodas are both shown in the Fairy King's Forest, where Meliodas is healing from his injuries sustained during the last fight. Ban isn't thrilled about being back in the forest because it reminds him of Elaine, his deceased lover. The two are having a conversation when they're suddenly ambushed by a group of demons.
The demons are after Meliodas and Ban because they believe that capturing them will lead to a reward from the Demon King. However, Meliodas and Ban make quick work of the demons. After the fight, they decide to rest for a bit, and Meliodas tells Ban about what's been happening in his absence.
Meliodas explains that Zeldris, one of the Ten Commandments, is now in control of Camelot. This isn't good news, as Zeldris is known for his ruthless and violent tactics. Meliodas also tells Ban that he's planning on rescuing Elizabeth from captivity. Ban is skeptical of this plan, as Elizabeth is the daughter of the current Goddess Clan leader, and it could have dangerous consequences.
The two continue their journey to the Boar Hat, where they're reunited with the rest of the crew. Ban is overjoyed to see everyone again, especially Elaine, who has been revived by Merlin. However, he quickly realizes that something is off--everyone is acting strangely.
It turns out that the Boar Hat crew is under a spell that was cast by one of the Ten Commandments, Derieri. The spell causes them to act out their hidden desires, which leads to chaos and destruction. Ban and Meliodas work together to fight Derieri and break the spell, which they're eventually successful in doing.
At the end of the episode, we see all of the characters regrouping and discussing their next move. Meliodas is still determined to rescue Elizabeth, and the rest of the crew is with him. It's clear that they're in for a tough fight, but they're determined to succeed.
Overall, "Have Hope" is an action-packed episode that focuses on the reunion of Ban and Meliodas, as well as the ongoing battle against the Ten Commandments. The episode also highlights the strength and determination of the Boar Hat crew, as they continue to fight against overwhelming odds.
