Ep 8. Life's a Beach

Tom & Jerry are back in the seventh season of their classic cartoon show, and this time they're hitting the beach in episode 8, titled "Life's a Beach". The episode begins with Tom and Jerry lounging on the beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying the beautiful day. Jerry is busy munching on a piece of cheese, while Tom is dozing off in his beach chair, dreaming of catching Jerry.

Each tries to outdo the other, building bigger and more elaborate castles, until they both accidentally destroy each other's creations in a fit of rivalry. Angry and frustrated, they leave the beach, only to run into a group of seagulls who steal their beach gear.
Now without a towel, food or sunscreen, Tom and Jerry are forced to hide in a nearby lifeguard tower to escape the sun's scorching rays. As they sit there, sweating and hungry, they realize they are both sad and lonely without each other. They quickly apologize and make up, vowing to never let something as trivial as a sandcastle come between them again.
The episode ends with Tom and Jerry enjoying the beautiful sunset and taking a long walk on the beach, arm in arm. They are once again the best of friends, happy and content just to spend time together and enjoy each other's company.
