The Ultimatum is a Chinese television series that falls into the genres of both drama and romance. The Ultimatum was produced by Chia Mien Yang, and it star's many well known actors and actresses such as Zoe Tay, Fann Wong, Li Nanxing, Tay Ping Hui, Elvin Ng, and Felicia Chin. This television series primarily airs on the MediaCorp channel 8, as well as has an approximate running time of about 45 minutes long per episode. The Ultimatum is mainly focused around a married man by the name of Ye Songnian, who is the head boss at Phoenix Corporation. One night he rapes one of his female employees named Zheng Wenyu. At the time of the rape, Zheng Wenyu was already pregnant with her husband's baby. Soon after the rape occurred, Zheng Wenyu gives birth to her baby at the hospital. However, Ye Songnians wife Suzhen is also giving birth to their baby at the same hospital, at the same exact time. Unfortunately, neither of the women knows that the other one is there. Ultimately, the doctors and nurses at the hospital get the two babies mixed up and end up swapping them. Later, Zheng Wenyu discovers that the two were switched and with her child having a heart condition, she uses the information to gain leverage over Ye Songnian. Meanwhile, the two children are living two totally separate lives, one whom is being abused on a regular basis. All which have a long road of twists and turns ahead of them. Both good and bad.

Description
