In the second episode of The Voice season 6, viewers get to see more aspiring artists auditioning for their chance to be a part of the show. The coaches - Usher, Shakira, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton - sit with their backs turned to the stage, only turning around when they hear a voice they like.

The episode kicks off with an energetic performance by a young woman named T.J. Wilkins. He sings "Bennie and the Jets," and all four coaches quickly hit their buttons to turn around. The coaches are impressed with T.J.'s stage presence and vocal range, but ultimately, he chooses to join Team Usher.

Next up is a duo named Dawn and Hawkes, who perform a stripped-down version of The Beatles' "I've Just Seen a Face." While their performance is well-received by the coaches, only Adam and Shakira turn around. The couple opts for Team Adam, citing his track record of mentoring successful duos.

Another standout audition comes from Biff Gore, a Denver pastor who belts out "A Change Is Gonna Come." His powerful voice earns him a four-chair turn and praise from all the coaches. Biff ultimately decides to join Team Usher, whom he feels will best help him hone his skills as a performer.

There are also several contestants who put their own unique spin on popular songs. After hearing Tamara Chauniece's soulful take on "1+1" by Beyoncé, Shakira says she was "so moved" she almost started crying. Despite all the coaches being impressed, Tamara chooses to join Team Blake, who promised to work on developing her identity as an artist.

Viewers also get to see the coaches bantering with each other as they try to persuade contestants to join their teams. When blues singer Patrick Thomson auditions with "Can't You See" by The Marshall Tucker Band, Blake and Adam begin bickering over which one of them has a better understanding of the genre. Eventually, Patrick chooses to join Team Adam, whom he believes will best help him explore his blues roots.

As the episode comes to a close, viewers are left with a handful of impressive auditions from talented singers hoping to make it to the next round. With teams starting to take shape, it's clear that the competition will only get tougher from here on out.
