The ThunderCats have to think quickly and come up with a plan to ward off the attackers. The Berbils come to the rescue, having used ThunderTank parts to repair their own ship, and quickly offer to fly the Berbil ship to safety, out of sight from the mutants. During this high-stake chase, the mutants are hot on their tail which leads to an action-packed aerial battle full of twists and turns. The ThunderCats, using the ThunderTank, try to fend off the mutant pursuit while the Berbils man their repaired ship.

In the end, the ThunderCats manage to fend off the mutants with their superior fighting skills and advanced weapons technology. With the mutants defeated and the Berbils safe in their newly repaired spaceship, Lion-O offers them a place to stay in the recently constructed Cat's Lair. The Berbils are grateful and happily accept the invitation, pleased to finally have a new home.
