Til Death is an American sitcom featuring a suburban couple and their extended group of family and friends with whom they clash in both principles and moral values. The show was created by Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yupsa and broadcast by the U.S. Fox network. Four seasons of Til Death were produced totaling 81 episodes, many of which were shown out of order during the first broadcast because of a U.S. screenwriters strike. Focusing on the Stark family Til Death opened as a clash of two generations of married couples. Eddie and Joy Stark are the focus of all four seasons and in the first two seasons are seen clashing with a newlywed couple Jeff and Steph Woodcock; Eddy and Joy have been married for 23 years and see their relationship compared to that of the Woodcock's during the first seasons. Although the Woodock's were written out of the show after season two was completed they still appear in the third season as a result of the alteration of the run of the second and third season because of the writers strike. In the third season the focus of the show switches from the relationship between the Stark's to that of Eddie and his role within the Big Brother organization. Eddie becomes a mentor to a young boy called Kenny who becomes a part of the Stark family. In season four the focus switches again to the relationship of the Stark with their daughter, Ally and her new husband Doug who move into a trailer in the backyard of the Stark's. Til Death then becomes a comedy based on the generation gap between the Stark's and their newlywed daughter.
