Ep 5. Relaxer and Bleach At The Same Time

To Catch A Beautician is a reality TV show that follows a unique concept of allowing clients to seek revenge on hair salon professionals who have botched hair services. The show is hosted by Tamar Braxton and Johnny Wright, a celebrity hairstylist who has worked with the likes of Beyoncé and Michelle Obama. In each episode, a client who has suffered from a bad hair experience brings the hair stylist responsible to the show.

However, as the makeover progresses, it becomes clear that Amena's skills are not up to par. She struggles with basic techniques and ends up making Lashell's hair worse. She also appears defensive when Tamar and Johnny try to give her constructive criticism and suggestions.

After the makeover, Lashell is disappointed and frustrated with the result. She still has bald spots, and her hair color is uneven and brassy. Amena tries to defend herself, but even she can see that there is no saving the hair that she has damaged.

In the end, Tamar and Johnny bring both Lashell and Amena on stage for a heart-to-heart talk. Tamar urges Amena to take responsibility for her mistake and offer Lashell a sincere apology. Amena finally admits that she was wrong and promises to do better in the future. Lashell accepts her apology but still stands by her decision to seek revenge. She hopes that by being on the show, she can prevent other women from experiencing the same hair damage.

The episode ends with Tamar and Johnny giving Lashell a hair makeover that she loves. They also remind viewers that hair care professionals should always follow industry standards and that clients have the right to seek compensation when they are subjected to poor service.
