Ep 6. She Literally Picked Her Brain

To Catch A Beautician is a reality TV show that follows celebrity hairstylist Tamar Braxton as she works to help women who have had terrible experiences at the hands of their stylists. In season 1 episode 6, titled "She Literally Picked Her Brain," Tamar meets with a woman named Ashley who is dealing with the aftermath of a disastrous haircut. Tamar hires an actress to pose as a client with a specific hairstyle in mind, and she sends her to Keesha's salon to get her hair done. Keesha takes the bait and ends up giving the actress an awful haircut that looks nothing like what she asked for. Tamar confronts Keesha and tells her that she needs to improve her skills if she wants to continue working in the industry.

In the end, Tamar helps Ashley to get a new hairstyle that she loves, and she warns other women to be careful when choosing a stylist. She emphasizes the importance of communication between the client and the stylist, and she encourages women to speak up when they are unhappy with the way their hair is being cut. "She Literally Picked Her Brain" is a cautionary tale about the importance of choosing the right hairstylist and advocating for yourself when it comes to your hair.
