Ep 10. Aogiri

In Tokyo Ghoul season 1 episode 10, titled "Aogiri," viewers are taken on a journey through the eventful day in the lives of the main characters. The episode commences with Hinami’s situation, who is an orphaned ghoul girl that came under the care of Anteiku.

As if things weren't complex enough, a new group of ghouls enter the scene calling themselves Aogiri Tree. They seek to bring an end to the CCG's oppression of ghouls and take control of Tokyo. Their leader is later revealed to be one of the strongest ghouls in the series, who is only known by the name of the "One-Eyed King."

The Aogiri Tree begins to launch attacks that will result in an all-out battle with the CCG. In preparation for the upcoming war, CCG starts raiding ghoul hideouts in Tokyo to obtain information and eliminate potential threats. The investigation squad, where Amon is part of, heads an operation to aghoul restaurant owned by Touka's brother, Ayato.

The episode ends with Hinami being protected by Kaneki from CCG investigators. As for the CCG, they have found a new trail to track down members of the Aogiri Tree.

Overall, episode 10 of Tokyo Ghoul is a high-action, fast-paced episode that offers much-needed background information about Hinami and the expansion of the scope of conflict beyond the main character.
