As the Kospego Commands, the sixth episode of the first season of Transformers: Robots In Disguise, opens with a glimpse into the potential past life of Drift, a samurai who has joined forces with the Autobots. We see him as a Decepticon, working with his former leader, Barricade, and being sent on a mission to retrieve a powerful weapon known as a Cybertanium Sphere.
Meanwhile, the Autobots are dealing with their own issues on Earth. Sideswipe is having a hard time adjusting to his new life as a police cruiser, and his disobedience causes some tension within the team. Bumblebee, on the other hand, is trying to teach his younger brother, Denny, about the importance of being a responsible Autobot.
Their peace is interrupted when Drift, who had been missing for some time, reappears with the Cybertanium Sphere. He claims that he has turned against the Decepticons and wants to work with the Autobots to stop them from obtaining the Sphere.
The team is initially skeptical, but soon realizes that they don't have much of a choice. The Decepticons are on their way to Earth to retrieve the Sphere, and they will stop at nothing to get it.
As they prepare for the Decepticon arrival, Drift reveals that the Sphere can only be activated by someone who is worthy. He believes that he is that person and tries to activate the Sphere himself. However, when he fails, he realizes that he must have been mistaken.
The Decepticons arrive, led by none other than Barricade himself. A fierce battle ensues between the Autobots and the Decepticons, with the fate of the Sphere hanging in the balance.
In the end, the Autobots are able to defeat Barricade and his forces, but they are left with a sobering realization. They now know that there are more Decepticons out there, and they must be prepared for whatever comes next.
As the episode comes to a close, we see Drift struggling with his past and his allegiance to the Autobots. We are left wondering what his true intentions are and whether or not he can truly be trusted.
