There were four main types of trenches, and the Allies and Central Powers dug an astounding 62,500 miles' worth of trenches from the start of the war to the end of it. Trenches focuses on teaching about these trenches, how they were made, what they were used for and how they affected the Great War and the 20th century as a whole.
