The episode "Brain Virus" is the sixteenth and final episode of the second season of the animated comedy series TripTank. The episode features a collection of shorts with a common theme of twisted minds and distorted reality. It starts with a sketch where a man's thoughts are getting increasingly weirder as he tries to impress a woman at a bar. The audience sees a glimpse of his inner psyche, and it is not a pretty sight.

The second sketch features an office worker who is sabotaging his colleagues' food in an attempt to get ahead and become the employee of the month. Things get out of hand when he accidentally ingests some of the contaminated food and experiences bizarre hallucinations. The animation style in this sketch changes drastically and the audience gets to see some elaborate and surreal visuals.

In the next segment, the show takes a stab at reality TV with a parody of "The Bachelor." The twist is that the show is set in a post-apocalyptic world and the contestants are all mutants. The sketches revolve around their bizarre personalities and their attempts to win the heart of the bachelor. The satire is spot on, and it is enjoyable to see how the trip-tank crew takes on the genre.

The fourth sketch features aliens who are on a mission to Earth to find the perfect creature to consume as their next meal. They have an insatiable appetite for bizarre and disgusting things, and their search leads them to an unlikely candidate. The creature they find is not what they expected, and the segment ends up with some rather unexpected twists and turns.

In the next sketch, a man who has a foot fetish takes his obsession to new heights when he starts imagining that every inanimate object in his life is a giant foot. He has a hard time functioning in a world that no longer makes sense to him, and before he knows it, his condition spirals out of control. The animation style in this segment is very distinctive and contributes to the surrealistic atmosphere.

The sixth sketch features a family that moves to a new town and gets introduced to a cult that has taken over the area. The cult leader claims that he has a cure for all diseases and everyone who joins them will be saved. The family becomes increasingly entangled with the cult and its bizarre rituals, and things take a turn for the worse.

The next segment takes place in a hospital where a nurse has been infected with a strange virus that makes her hallucinate. Her visions are incredibly vivid, and the line between reality and fantasy starts to blur. The animation here is particularly impressive, and the atmosphere is very unsettling.

In the eighth sketch, a group of friends who have been playing a virtual reality game for days are suddenly sucked into the game's world. They find themselves in a dystopian world where the only way to survive is to fight. The animation style in this segment is very different from the other ones and the action sequences are very well done.

The ninth sketch features a man who is trying to get over a breakup by consulting a self-help program. The program uses subliminal messaging to help him move on, but the messages have unexpected consequences. The segment is hilarious, and the animation is very expressive.

The final sketch is a parody of the "Evil Dead" franchise, where a group of college students goes to a cabin in the woods and inadvertently unleashes an evil spirit. The sketch is very gory and has a lot of nods to the classic horror movie. The animation style is very different from the other ones, and the attention to detail is impressive.

In conclusion, "Brain Virus" is a solid episode of TripTank that showcases the show's signature style very well. The segment's themes are well executed, and the animation is consistently impressive. The sense of humor might not be for everyone, but for fans of the show or those who enjoy adult humor, this episode will be a treat.
