Undateable is an American sitcom television series that revolves around a group of friends who are trying to navigate their way through their love lives. The show is based on the book "Undateable: 311 Things Guys Do That Guarantee They Won't Be Dating or Having Sex" by Ellen Rakieten and Anne Coyle. The series follows Danny Burton (Chris D'Elia), a 30-something carefree guy who decides to help his new roommate Justin Kearney (Brent Morin) with his dating life, which is non-existent. Along with their friends, Burski (Rick Glassman), Brett (David Fynn), and Shauna (Bianca Kajlich), they try to find love, or at least, some fun along the way.

In the episode "Hour 5," the gang is at their favorite bar, Stool, where they try to have a good time despite the fact that their favorite bartender, Leslie (Bridgit Mendler), is leaving. Danny tries to convince her to stay, but she tells him that she has decided to move to Chicago to follow her dreams. Justin, on the other hand, is trying to impress Nicki (Briga Heelan), a girl that he has been crushing on, by pretending to be someone he is not.

Throughout the episode, Danny, Brett, and Burski try to help Justin impress Nicki. They come up with a plan to make Justin seem more interesting. They tell him to pretend that he is a firefighter instead of a barista, and to act like he is way cooler than he actually is. Despite their best intentions, things don't go as planned, and Justin ends up embarrassing himself in front of Nicki.

Meanwhile, Danny is still trying to convince Leslie to stay. He tells her that he has feelings for her, but Leslie is not interested. She tells him that he needs to grow up and take responsibility for his life. She then leaves Stool, leaving Danny feeling upset and alone.

Back at the bar, Burski is trying to pick up a girl who is way out of his league. He tries to impress her by saying that he is a professional golfer and that he makes millions of dollars every year. However, she sees through his lies and calls him out on it, leaving Burski feeling embarrassed.

At the end of the episode, the gang realizes that they need to be honest with themselves and with each other. They come to the conclusion that pretending to be someone they are not is not the way to find true love or happiness. They decide to let go of their insecurities and to be true to who they are. Justin confesses to Nicki that he lied about being a firefighter, but Nicki forgives him and they decide to give their relationship a chance. Danny accepts that Leslie is leaving and tells her that he wishes her the best.

Overall, "Hour 5" is a funny and entertaining episode that highlights the importance of being true to oneself. The characters are relatable and endearing, and the storyline is engaging and well-paced. Undateable is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys a good romantic comedy with a twist.
