Undead Unluck is a Japanese manga series that was adapted into an anime in 2023. Intrigued by this, Andy makes a deal with Fuuko - he will help her find a way to get rid of her Unluck if she continues trying to kill him in various ways to see if any method works. A strange partnership is formed.

As Andy and Fuuko spend time together trying all sorts of outrageous death-defying stunts, they get to know each other and realize they have more in common than they initially thought. Both feel outcast from society and struggle to find purpose and happiness with the hands they've been dealt. Through their time together, they begin to learn the importance of friendship and having someone who understands them.

The wacky immortal-unlucky girl duo soon attract other individuals with strange powers who are also searching for purpose. There's Tokio Doman, a high schooler who has trained his whole life in martial arts but is bored of being the strongest. His power is "Chill," which makes others relax around him and not see him as a threat. There's also Nagi Uraki, a young girl with a vengeful spirit who wants to hunt down a mysterious murderer. Her power is "Hunter," which allows her to track down specific targets.

As Fuuko and Andy get caught up in adventures with their new friends, they start to realize that perhaps their powers don't have to be seen as curses, but can be used for good. Throughout the show, the theme of finding meaning and creating a positive impact runs strong. The characters grow not just in their relationships with each other, but also in coming to terms with who they are.
