After their visit to Avery Island, the trio heads to New Orleans – a city known for its vibrant food scene. They start their culinary adventure with a visit to Cafe du Monde, famous for its beignets and coffee with chicory. They are amazed by the bustling atmosphere and the delicious treats, and they decide to explore more of the city's diverse culinary offerings.

Next, the trio takes a tour of the French Quarter, where they discover a hidden gem – a Creole restaurant called Coop's Place. They meet with the owner, Jack, and he shows them how to make the restaurant's famous jambalaya. They also try other Creole dishes, such as rabbit and sausage gumbo, and fried chicken livers. The friends are blown away by the flavors and the rustic charm of Coop's Place.

The friends also visit a traditional barbecue joint – The Joint – in New Orleans. They try the brisket, ribs, and pulled pork, and they are impressed by the smoky flavor and the tender meat. They also chat with the pit master, who shares his secrets for making the perfect barbecue.

Finally, the friends pack up the van and head to Memphis, Tennessee – another Southern city known for its food. They stop at Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken, where they try the spicy fried chicken and the sides, such as mac and cheese and coleslaw. They are amazed by the crispy skin and the juicy meat, and they declare the chicken the best they have ever had.

The episode ends with the friends reflecting on their Southern culinary adventure. They talk about the diversity of flavors and the passion of the chefs and food producers they met along the way. They vow to continue exploring the amazing food culture of America, and they can't wait for their next unplanned adventure.
